Japan FanzinesBefore the WWW, one way in which fans got together to share articles and pictures was through fanzines.
Talking Drum (USA 1987 - 1991)In 1987, David James took over the fanzine "J:MUSA" and it was renamed "Talking Drum". The material remained similar, as David had been a major contributor to "J:MUSA". David sadly passed away in the early 1990's, shortly after passing the responsibility of the fanzine on to another fan. There were 37 editions of the fanzine, plus a Sylvian tour special edition. Various cover images from the fanzines are shown below. Many thanks to Charles and Katie for providing these images. These fanzines are a mine of information and I am currently going through them to add to other areas of the site.
